To address the biological and psychosocial needs of CML and GIST patients and their families by strengthening TBM Inc, establishing networks and linkages to resources and social services, and maintaining adequate resources to sustain the needs of CML and GIST patients
The logo was conceptualized by the original core group in January 2004, while preparing for the first large nationwide gathering of CML and GIST patients in the Philippines in February 28, 2004 at the Medical Center in Manila. Final execution was courtesy of Judith K.
Cognizant that GIPAP is an instrument of the Lord’s grace on the patients, we envisioned his touch through the Creation scene of Michelangelo's painting. This act of generosity creates a ripple effect to the beneficiaries and their families. In unison, together these ripple effects can make waves of differences in the community as, meaningful lives of service are lived.
The gift of hope is symbolized by the color yellow, and blue for the deep waters of a meaningful life.
